Mikael's k-24 powered eg civic coupe
Mike sent us his civic hatch with alot of work already done.Everything was done well , our job was to finish his project. We did the wiring, axle customizing, oil pump mod, belt and idler pulley fittment, fuel system, exhaust, k-pro and street tune and liquides plus other various tasks. We installed a Sparks racing harness that seemed to work well although the 02 would always code(possible bad o2 sensor). We had to remove the oil pan and block the old oil drain that led to the balancing shaft assembly.Since a type S pump was being used, the drain would have been pumping to the pan and would have caused a problem for the oil pressure. The k24 block had a type S head with stock cams and a prb intake manifold. We make the fuel systems very simple these days.Golden Eagle rail with either type S injectors or RDX injectors, a ractive fuel pressure regulator with guage some high pressure fuel line and a walbro 255 hp in tank pump. The cost of the parts and install in aproxamately $500.00 not including the injectors and works like a charm.Axle's are custom made with stock type S units and some b-series parts. We usually install stock ep3 axel's and measure from there. Then have them either made longer or shorter according to how they fit.Never any trouble, unless they break...there is no warranty , but the cost to have the modified axle rebuilt is a flat price of $100.00. We are waiting for Mike to call us back so as we can get in on the dyno for some power tuning, with a 3 inch free flowing exhaust we expect nothing less than 240 whp and 190 wtq.
good luck Mike
